Kola is a strategy and corporate finance leader with two decades experience in strategy, consulting, and C-suite, He is Managing Principal and Lead Advisor at AltWay LLP, a firm that provides strategic, fund-raising, and capacity development support to mid-large sized corporates. He is also the founder and Lead Facilitator at Laba Ideas, a platform that supports, invests in, and advises promising high-growth startups in healthcare and social impact sectors.
Kola has a track record of delivering innovative and sustainable solutions in challenging and complex environments. He co-founded AfyA Care, a healthcare investment company that expanded access and optimized delivery models in Africa, and served as its Chief Operating Officer. He was also a Senior Executive at AXA Mansard, where he led a team that secured multiple commitments from investors for a landmark hospital project, managed the brand transition and marketing strategy, and set up a business transformation team that saved millions in annual costs. He has worked across industries on a range of projects with experience in bringing parties together to structure deals. He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant, alumnus of Lagos Business School and IESE’s Advanced Management Program, and a certified executive in healthcare leadership and quantitative intuition. He is passionate about creating and facilitating opportunities that drive positive change and impact in the world.
